Teking Lagoon Cruises & Tours

Please read the following terms and conditions before proceeding with your reservation booking. 

Rates are subject to change and confirmed upon receipt of payment in full. All rates are indicated in New Zealand Dollars $NZD. Any applicable currency conversions will be the responsibility of your financial institution at the rates set by your financial institution.

Customers may see prices converted to the relevant local currency based on their location via our credit card processor, Stripe. The exchange rate applied will be shown by Stripe and supported payment methods will be displayed. Customers have the option to pay in the original currency (NZD).

Your financial institution may also charge additional fees for purchases from overseas merchants. Please check with your financial institution with any questions.

Our credit card processor uses the mid-market exchange rate and applies a fee to guarantee the rate for the duration of the Checkout Session (up to 24 hours) through settlement.

Tours include complimentary transportation: pick up and drop off to accommodation or airport.

All tours must be paid in full to be considered valid. Bookings made without payment are not kept in the system.

We accept Visa and MasterCard Credit and Debit cards. These cards must show the customer’s name, signature and card number, with their applicable logo. Prepaid and Reloadable debit cards and Gift cards, as well as Travel cards and EFTPOS cards are not accepted. Online transactions will appear from our Internet Service Provider, “IAOS, Inc.” or may indicate “DoIt.Net”. 

We will not use credit card information for any purpose other than to process your payments. All online payments are processed via PayPal and information is never sent from or stored on our servers. All booking data is transmitted from our website to the PayPal Gateway with SSL encryption for processing. All financial data is entered directly into PayPal. Consumer Data Privacy Policy

Teking Lagoon Cruises and our Internet Provider, DoIt.Net, does not use cookies to collect your personal information. Cookies may only used to complete bookings on the site as required by PayPal.

We do not share, sell, or otherwise distribute your personal information or provide any other customer information to other companies or organizations. We may share this information, and only that information which is absolutely necessary, with those third parties that are involved in the processing of your order. E.g., our financial processor PayPal; the financial institution that issued your credit card, etc.

We may use your email address to communicate with you to either respond to a query or request information relating to your booking. We may also contact you to ask for tour feedback or reviews.

Transactions using the PayPal payment gateway secure site ensure the privacy and security of credit card transactions. Teking Lagoon Cruises has no access to this information which is between the customer and the PayPal payment gateway.

Cancellation Policy

The cancellation fee that applies to a confirmed reservation is as follows:

(a) 100% of total booking amount if cancelled within 3 calendar days of your tour for any reason, except illness or trip cancellation. Customer must provide proof of illness or travel cancellation prior to day of tour.

(b) All other cancellations are subject to 10% of total booking amount if cancelled beyond 3 calendar days of your tour. This cost is mandatory to help offset the fees and charges incurred by Teking Lagoon Cruises for cancelled/refunded online transactions (e.g., credit card fees, currency exchange rates, PayPal transaction fees)

(c) Any customer may cancel at least 3 days in advance and use 100% of the payment as credit towards a future Teking Lagoon Cruise, subject to availability.

Refund Policy

Customers that have cancelled at least 3 calendar days in advance of their tour will be refunded 90% back to their original method of payment. 

Customers that have cancelled within 3 calendar days in advance of their tour will not be refunded, except on a case-by-case basis due to illness or travel cancellation (cruise ship or flight cancellation). Customers that provide sufficient documentation will be refunded 90% back to their original method of payment.

No-shows will not be refunded.

Refunds or chargebacks are issued in the currency that the customer paid with. We do not guarantee the same exchange rate for refunds.
